About the SMART Academy

For more than 25 years, Communities In Schools of Wake County (CIS Wake) has partnered with the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) to help students stay in school and achieve in life.

In Spring 2013 CIS Wake launched the SMART Academy, as an academic enrichment program that ensures that Students Maximize Academic Resources through Technology.

Thanks to the support of our partners at Duke Energy, Biogen and Cisco, the SMART Academy offers year-round programs and services designed to develop the 21st Century thinking skills of students in grades K-12.
